When applying for an offer letter and especially for a Polish National Student Visa (Visa D), international students are required to demonstrate sufficient financial capacity to cover their study and living expenses in Poland.

  • Based on the amount stated in the Offer Letter / Acceptance Letter
  • Typically: EUR 2,000 – 5,000 per year
  • Some universities require partial or full payment of the first-year tuition in advance

2. Living Expenses

According to general regulations, students must demonstrate sufficient funds for basic living costs:

  • Estimated: EUR 300 – 600 per month
  • Equivalent to approximately EUR 7,000 – 10,000 per year

This amount is significantly lower compared to:

  • UK: ~GBP 12,000/year
  • Australia: ~AUD 24,505/year
  • Canada: ~CAD 20,635/year

Poland student visa

International students studying in Poland for programs longer than 90 days are required to apply for a Type D National Visa, which is suitable for long-term study programs in Poland.

Required Visa Documents:
